Franny, seems madly in love with Frank despite his worldly departure. She still shines and even though she has her significant downs, she can do anything with the enduring connection to Frank.

Lovely insights! Do you find this dynamic in Franny’s character to be real/honest?

I definitely thought of Frank as a main character. It was wonderful how the different photos of Frank suited the rooms he was in. When you have that sort of love in a relationship it’s very special. Frank and Franny were lovers and best friends and Franny was not going to give up on that just because he had passed away. It shows how devoted Franny is

I really enjoyed how we got to know more about their love and their life together through her conversations and reminiscing with Frank. It was a lovely way to drip feed this to readers rather than info dump and felt natural and real.

The presence of Frank gives us an insight into their relationship and helps us understand Franny’s journey through her grief.

For those who lost someone the hardest thing is not hearing their voice. I lost my mother last year &my father in 2018. I now sit on the back stairs, look up to the stars & talk to them as they still here. I think for Franny this way to keep connect to some she love, respect and feel lost when he gone.
